Knowledge and fun increase classes of sciences and biology
A nautical tour full of curiosities of the marine world. A walk in the rain forest that reveals the details of the Mata Atlântica and local fauna. A visit to the Univali Ecomuseum, a space of surprises, discoveries and a lot of knowledge. Have you imagined checking all these in one day full of adventures on an island surrounded of natural beauties?
This is the proposal of the educational program Environmental Experience of Porto Belo Island. Knowledge and fun, a class that starts on board a schooner that does the transportation between the continent and the island. Navigating by the bay, the tour is coordinated by a biologist who clarifies matters related to the local environment characters, geography, and geology of the coast and mariculture areas.
On the island the adventure continues and the students walk by the ecologic trail. Apart of observing the aspects of fauna and flora of the Mata Atlântica, the walk reserves a visit to the Pedra da Cruz, with petroglyphs, archaeological relics carved thousands of years in the rock. In sequence, the students go to a look out point that reserves one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the region.
A trip through the time, history and the transformations of nature is what the Environmental Experience program proposes, developed to offer knowledge and leisure for students of primary, medium and high level, between September and November. You are our guest on this adventure!
